Obituary for Kenneth Doyle Evans Kenneth Doyle Evans, 92, of Comanche passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Kenneth was born in Comanche, TX to Chester and Ozie Evans in August, 1922. He graduated from high school in Gustine and joined the Army.

Kenneth served during World War II and spent his life farming in Comanche when he returned. He married Louise Welch in December, 1946 and they were blessed with a son, Mike. Kenneth enjoyed fishing the river, running back and forth to Buchanan Lake, but most of all enjoyed his time with family.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Mike and wife Sharon Evans of Early, TX; 2 grandchildren, Traci and husband Joshua Terrill of San Angelo, Chad and Jessica Evans of Dublin, TX; and 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Caitlin Terrill. Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Welch Evans. A graveside service will be held at the Union Cemetery Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM and a visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6 – 7 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Comanche, TX.
