Obituary for Martin V Lorta Martin Lorta, 73, of Comanche, passed away Friday September 28, 2018. Martin Lorta was born January 31, 1945, in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico, to Gabino Lorta Mendez and Maria Vallejo Lorta. He married Maria R. Lorta July 12, 1978, in Jimenez, Coahuila.

They had 8 children, 6 sons and 2 daughters. Martin worked as a farmer, loved his family, horse playing with the grandchildren, riding horses, and raising animals. Martin is survived by children, Tony and Rosie Silva, Martin and Stacy Lorta, Gabino and Rachel Lorta, Rumaldo and Tabatha Lorta, Maria and Javier Hernandez, Claudia and Hector Villalpando; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Manuela Arreola, Amelia Suarez, Genoveva Ibarra, Graciela Davalos, Rosa Ramirez, Celia Crispin, Lupe Lorta, and Jose Lorta.

Martin was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Maria Lorta; sons, Francisco “Panchito” Lorta and Ruben Lorta; parents, Gabino and Maria Lorta; brothers, Gilberto Lorta, Gabino Lorta, Jr., Olinto Lorta and Ralo Lorta.
