Goodrich, 76, passed away peacefully at Montefiore Medical Center, Einstein Campus, Bronx, New York surrounded by his loving family following a valiant effort against liver disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara (nee Hlywa) Goodrich; his sons Ken Goodrich and his wife Cindy and Jeffrey Goodrich and his wife Cara; his daughter Wendy (nee Goodrich) Brick; seven grandchildren, Amanda Goodrich, Courtney and Michael Brick, Lauren, Stephanie, Emily and Jeffrey Goodrich; his sister Marilyn (nee Goodrich) Tracey and his brother Robert Goodrich; his brothers-in law Andrew Hlywa and Michael Hlywa and his wife Kathy; and his loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Emil and Jeanette (nee Sandford) Goodrich, his parents; Jack and Edward Goodrich, his brothers; Janet Goodrich and Joyce (nee Goodrich) Gorley Geyer, his sisters; Ronald Gorley and Thomas Tracey, his brothers-in-law; Ronald Gorley, his nephew; and Andrew and Anna (nee Bankos) Hlywa, his father and mother-in law.

Ken was born in Paterson, New Jersey and attended Central High School where he met his wife, Barbara. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964 and often shared stories of his service with his family. Ken was a resident of Elmwood Park for 47 years.

He worked as a printing salesman for FLM Data Graphics in Fairfield, New Jersey for 40 years. He enjoyed his time as an assistant coach for his sons’ little league baseball teams and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Ken was a proud grandfather who regularly attended school events, sporting activities and musicals his grandchildren participated in.

His sense of humor was one of his greatest assets. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. Visiting will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park, New Jersey 07407.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
