Obituary for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Newton Mr. Kenneth Wayne Newton, age 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his home under the care and comfort of his family. Graveside services will be 11 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Willow Mount Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 10 AM – 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

He was born March 21, 1946, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the late Grady Newton and Annie Pearl Tatum Montgomery. Mr. Newton worked previously at Red Ace Gas Station, Princess Theatre, and was a carrier for the Shelbyville Times Gazette. He attended Fellowship for Christ Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Crystal Jones. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wilma Dean Jacobs Newton, of Shelbyville; a son, Kenny Newton and a step son, Jerry (Kelley Trulove) Jones; a brother, Andrew Newton, and a sister, Donna Turner; grandchildren, Hope Newton and Isiah Newton; great grandchildren, Novella Metcalf and Nevaeh Metcalf. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
