Keri was raised and educated in Circle graduating from Circle High School with the class of 1985. During high school, Keri played on the basketball team, participated in plays, was a member of the honor society, worked at the Wooden Nickel and various places in Circle, enjoyed hanging out with friends and anything to do with Scooby-Doo and the color purple. Her pride and joy however, was her 1979 Chevy Camaro, it even took precedence over her brother whom she picked on continuously.

Keri continued her education and attended Dawson Community College in Glendive for two years, earning her associates degree in commercial art. She then moved to Missoula, Montana and attended the University of Montana for a year before moving to Seattle, Washington and studying commercial art at a vocational school there. Keri later moved to Tacoma, where she started working at Lowe’s.

She worked there for thirteen years as a manager before health forced her to resign. At the time of her passing, Keri was babysitting the sweetest little girl and the apple of her eye, Raida. Keri loved cats and considered her three cats her special babies.

She was a huge fan of the Seattle Seahawks. Keri was known for her story telling and the more excited she got the faster she would talk. She also enjoyed shopping and decorating, every time she visited her mother she would redecorate her mother’s house and every time her mother would visit her they would shop until they literally dropped.

Above everything, Keri loved her family and friends, she was recently back to Montana at the beginning of June and her family is grateful for the wonderful time they got to spend with her. Keri was preceded in death by her father Art and all of her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Sharon Unruh of Circle; her brother, Darren Unruh of Bozeman, Montana; her special friends, Sabrena, Carrisa and Debbie all of Tacoma and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
