Kitty’s Obituary Alice “Kitty” Kirkland Paschal age 83, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Walker officiating.

Burial will be private. Mrs. Paschal was a born in Pecos, TX but had made her home in Milledgeville. She worked at Central State Hospital and the Georgia War Veterans Home where she retired as Director, she was the first woman and non-veteran to serve as the Director of the War Veteran Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Russell and Alice Inez Priest Kirkland and her husband Hutch Paschal, III. She was a lone-time member of the American Legion, Georgia Motor Coach Association and was an avid RV enthusiast. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children Coley Paschal (Debra) of Eatonton, Tara Peters (Rick) of Milledgeville and Robyn Shreve (Mark) of Columbus, grandchildren: Keeli Ewing (Johnathan) Kaylin Cole (Matt), Krista Dille (Dylan), Will Peters, Kaitlyn Peters, Kristy Currie (Tyson) and Jason Peters (Stephanie), Robbie Shreve (Kristin) and Matt Shreve (Tiffany), great grandchildren: Logan Ewing, Georgia Lee Peters, Abigail Shreve, Alston Shreve, Amos Shreve, and Anderson Shreve. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church, for the Victory Garden Fund, 640 Meriwether Rd.
