L. V. Kidd, Jr., affectionately known as “Knocker”, was born September 13, 1958 to the late L. V. Sr. and Myrtle Dailey Kidd. He was called home from this life on Friday, June 15, 2018 while at his Packers Bend, Al residence. He was educated in the public school system and provided his living by working in the logging industry.

Fishing gave him great pleasure, as he loved going with his brother-in-law, John. Preceding L. V. in death were his parents, L. V. and Myrtle Kidd, Sr.; sister, Bobbie Jean Huff; brother, James Edward (Bo) Kidd and nephew, Roderick Kidd. L. V. leaves to forever cherish his memories his devoted sisters, Betty King, Packers Bend, AL and Lillie Beatrice KIdd (John Elbert) Hicks, Tuscaloosa, AL; brother-in-law, Robert Huff, Moundville, AL; aunts, Mamie Frye, Mobile, AL and Celane Kidd, Lower Peachtree, AL; very devoted friend, Mary Nettles, Monoreville, AL; nieces and nephews, Melissa King Collins, Pamela D. Huff, Clairessa Kidd Coston, Tyson Kidd, Joey Kidd, Cedric Huff, Michael King, James Sylvester Myles, Rondie Myles, Rloand Myles, and William Earl Myles; a host of great nieces and nephews; cousins; and many friends including several devoted, Herman Kidd, Ray Charles Mobley, Neal Kidd, Jackie Portis, Mary Ann Kimbrough, Jessie Kimbrough and Teresa Campbell.
