Larry’s Obituary Mr. Larry Allen Beal, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Hope Springs in Red Springs. He was born on October 21, 1941, in Guilford County to the late Ralph Beal and the late Dorothy Smith Beal. He was a veteran of the US Army and later became a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Annie W. Beal of the home; three sons: Larry Allen Beal, Jr. (Tia) of Cleveland, OH, Troy Wayne Beal (Lisa) of Dwight, IL, and Curtis Chandler Beal (Missy) of Lumberton; seven grandchildren: Brittany, Megan, Tori, Tyler, Carrington, Chandler, and Chasity; two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Tenley; one brother, Ralph Beal, Jr.; and two sisters, Nancy Counts and Elaine Griffin, both of Wilmington. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel.
