Lena Hobbs passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest at the age of 97. She was born in Breckinridge County, KY on December 24, 1920 to Grover and Eva LeMaster. She married Fred L. Hobbs and they lived most of their life in Owensboro.

Lena was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Eva LeMaster; her husband, Fred L. Hobbs; two sisters, Maryjane Carter and Margie Colbert; her brothers, G.C. LeMaster and Everett LeMaster; and a daughter, Brenda Bartlett. She is survived by a son, Stephen Hobbs (Pam) of Owensboro; a niece, Eva Jean Adams of Owensboro; a nephew, George Carter (Carolyn) of Hawesville, KY; sister-in-law, Pat LeMaster of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Nathan Hobbs (Ying) of Fremont, California, Leah Hagan (Barry) of Owensboro and Lara Morse (Billy) of Hartford, KY; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
