Obituary for Mr. Leo B. Kavanaugh Leo B. Kavanaugh age 63 years of Paulsboro died Monday July 9, 2018 in his home. Mr. Kavanaugh was born and raised in Camden and joined the United States Navy while in high school, serving in Vietnam. In 1983 he moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where he worked as a mechanic for several years at Palm Beach Tire.

In 2006 he moved to Sunset Beach, California to live with his brother for the next five years. Mr. Kavanaugh returned to Paulsboro in 2011 where he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time in his garage. He is survived by his companion, Lynn Shaffer of Paulsboro; devoted father to Paul and Jaime Convery of Gibbstown, Dawn Kavanaugh and Mike of Florida, Leo Kavanaugh Jr. of Florida, Crystal Kavanaugh of Paulsboro; loving Pop Pop of Nicholas, Shae, Dylan, Michael, Autumn, Josh, Olivia, Kylie, Luke and Noah; great grandpop of Mason and also survived by his sister, Sharon Kavanaugh of Haddon Township.

Mr. Kavanaugh was predeceased by his wife, Debbie Kavanaugh, his parents, Bernard and Edith Kavanaugh and his brother, Timothy Kavanaugh. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday July 15, 2018 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228, W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Sunday after 1 PM until service time.
