LeRoy’s Obituary LeRoy Dale Straight, age 90, of Coloma, Wisconsin, formerly of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. LeRoy was born November 16, 1928 in Tomah, Wisconsin, the son of Edwin and Adeline (Fuhrman) Straight. He married the former June Rose Pickard on May 24, 1952 in Hawkins, Wisconsin.

LeRoy and June resided in Beloit from 1953 until moving to Coloma in 1989. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War. LeRoy was employed as a machinist at Beloit Corp.

for 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles Club and Mead-Allen VFW Post 2306, both in Beloit. LeRoy was also a member of the Coloma Lions Club.

LeRoy is survived by five children, Gail E. Straight of Coloma, WI, Wayne A. (Joan) Straight of Beloit, Glenn D. (Cindy) Straight of Darien, Wisconsin, Sheree L. (Melvin) Kirby-Pratt of Hancock, Wisconsin, and Sandra L. (Terry) Mullen of Nashville, Tennessee; 17 grandchildren, Mike, Becky, Heather, Beth, Jason, Sheila, Christina, Joshua, Dale, Conan, William, Kevin Jr., Neal, Bridget, Christopher, and Nichole; 41 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; three brothers; and by 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at New Beginnings Church in Westfield, Wisconsin with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will also be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511 with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Committal with military honors provided by the Mead-Allen VFW Post 2306 of Beloit will follow the service at Floral Lawn Cemetery in South Beloit, Illinois.
