Lester “Les” Buckman, age 95, passed away on May 16, 2019. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Moore). Loving father of Sharon (Ed) Palankas, Walter (Mary Lou), Randal Buckman, Vicky Buckman, Sylvia (William) Frontiera, Sheila (Brian) Borkowicz, Richard (Rose) Schales, Sandra (Robert) Adams and Mary (Stewart) Thurman.

Dear brother of Martha Cayan. Proud grandfather of 20, great grandfather of 19 and great great grandfather of 1. Les is predeceased by his sons Randy and Ricky, as well as his siblings Albert, Edward, Edwin and Viola.

He was apart of the greatest generation and a World War II veteran in the United States Army. Visitation will take place on Monday (May 20th) at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, from 2pm – 9pm.

Funeral Services will take place at Shepherd’s Gate Church 12400 23 Mile Shelby Twp. , MI 48315 on Tuesday (May 21st). Les will lie instate at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
