Obituary for Letitia “Letty” Wheeler Mrs. Letitia Ann “Letty” Wheeler, 72, of Deputy, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Seymour on August 19, 1946 to the late John “Gus” and Dorothy (Peters) Delaney. Funeral services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 6 at 10:30 am with Rev.

Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and at the church on Thursday from 9 am until time of service.

On December 14, 1968, she married Gayle Wheeler; he survives. She had recently retired from Union Hardware as a bookkeeper after 31 years of service. She enjoyed being a homemaker and watching John Wayne movies.

She was always thinking of others before herself. She is survived by her husband of 49 years; children, Gary (Joanne) Wheeler and Greg Wheeler (Misty Combs); and 2 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marie (Delaney) Brinkman.
