Levan M. “Ben” Schneck, 86, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at his home. He was the husband of the late Annie V. Kreiser Schneck. Born in Lebanon on March 28, 1932, he was the son of the late Ray and Grace Tobias Schneck.

Ben had worked at Cornwall Mines and then retired from PennDot, where he drove truck. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping muskrat, and he loved watching the Phillies. He is survived by his daughter Crystale wife of Chris Strupp of Jonestown; sister Janice McDonnell of Delaware; grandchildren Heather and Travis; and great grandchildren Kyla, Treyton and Alyssa.

He was preceded in death by his son Barry L. Schneck, brothers Stewart, Russ and John Schneck, and sisters Gilda Kreiser, Margaret Hostetter and Lorraine Ritchie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd.

, Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Chapel Cemetery, Green Point.
