Miriam Laura Hain, 78, of Annville, formerly of Myerstown, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2019 at Countryside Christian Community. She was the wife of the late Edward N. Hain, who passed away in 1994. Miriam was born in Tulpehocken Twp.

, Berks County, on April 15, 1940. She was born to the late Harvey and Laura (Ziegler) Bashore. Miriam had recently attended Hill Lutheran Church in Lebanon.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed, crocheting, crafting, card making, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and traveling to Lewes, Delaware, where she enjoyed fishing. A great love of Miriam’s was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Deborah K. Hoffman and her husband James, Donna L. Glick and her husband David, Beverly A. Davis and her husband Charles, Douglas E. Hain and his wife Sheila, nine grandchildren, James, Jessica, Amy, Alyssa, Aaron, Alex, Amber, Gavin, Clayton, 10 great grandchildren, and her brothers, Rufus Bashore, Alvin Bashore, Harvey Bashore, Jr., and his wife Gladys.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ammon Bashore and Betty Brubaker. A funeral will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11AM from Hill Lutheran Church, 998 N. Mill Street, Lebanon. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.

There will be a viewing held from 10AM until 11AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann Court, Annville, PA 17003. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Miriam Laura Hain please visit our Sympathy Store.
