Lewis Kay (Johnny) Johnson Our loving father, grandfather and great grandfather Lewis Kay (Johnny) Johnson, 90, of Roy, passed away peacefully March 11, 2019. He joyfully was reunited with his beloved wife. He was a faithful husband, father, and grandfather who cared for and loved his family!

He was born March 24, 1928 and was the son of Lewis DeLeon Johnson and Therma Ronnie Alexander. He was raised by his grandma and grandpa Leofwin and Nancy Johnson mostly in Paris, Idaho. After moving to Layton, Utah he graduated from Davis High School.

He proudly represented his country during World War II in the Navy. He later spent most of his career working for the Ogden Standard Examiner. He married his eternal companion, Lucile Merna Stahle Johnson, May 27, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He faithfully served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints his entire adult life including Stake Presidency, Bishopric Counselor, Region Welfare Agent, Stake Missionary, Sunday School, Young Men’s and many more. He and his wife served 3 full-time missions together. He will be best remembered for his devotion to the Lord and his sense of humor.

He is survived by his five children: Alan (Kay), Bruce (Marie), Linda Williams (James), Mark (Gayle), Michael (Judy); 31 grandchildren and 66 great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and grandparents. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Lakeview Ward Chapel, 4900 South 2000 W. in Roy.

Friends may call prior to services at the Church from 9:00 to 9:40 a.m. A viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Interment will be in the Bountiful Cemetery 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, Utah. Send condolences to the family at www.
