Janice Shaw Janice Ohman Shaw, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in Provo, Utah. Janice was born March 24, 1938, in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Pearl Anita Hansen and Earland Albin Ohman. She earned her master’s degree in Psychology from Fresno State and enjoyed counseling others.

Janice married her sweetheart Elden K Shaw on December 30, 1957, in the Salt Lake Temple. Janice and Elden were married 61 years. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings.

Janice enjoyed sewing, cooking and serving others. She is survived by her husband, Elden K Shaw, Provo, UT; children: Vicki (Michael) McGhie, Lagrange, GA; Kenneth (Irene) Shaw, WI; Bryan (Lori) Shaw, San Antonio, TX; and Susan (Brian) Huey, Clovis, CA; 18 grandchildren; 19 Great-grandchildren; siblings: Jerry (Beth) Ohman, St. George, UT; Mike (Shari) Ohman, Spanish Fork, UT; Evalie (Ron) Brockway, OH. Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kaylene Ohman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 am at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
