Don L. Poulsen, 89 passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his home with his daughters by his side. Don was born on April 15, 1929 in Brigham City, Utah a son of Esther Eliza Johnsen and Orson Lorenzo Poulsen. Don attended Lincoln Elementary and graduated from Box Elder High School.

He married Lois Hunsaker. They later divorced. Don married Geraldine Bodrero on December 17, 1954.

They were later sealed in the Logan Temple. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Don retired from Thiokol as a heavy equipment operator.

He also drove Charter Bus. He enjoyed trains, carpentry and reading. Don is survived by his daughters: Donnett (Kim) Hawkes, North Logan; Cindy (Brian) Jeppesen, Brigham City; Gay (Paul) Jensen, Brigham City; Karen (Michael) Holland, Harper Ward; Donnell Manzo; Amy (Tony) Chesler; son Richard; 23 grandchildren and 51great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Joycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Geraldine, and nine siblings. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Brigham City River Ward Chapel, 523 N. 100 W., Brigham City, UT. Viewings will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Church.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
