Rex Monroe Searle Our loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully on March 6, 2019. Rex was born in Vernal, Utah September 18, 1946 to Lester and Grace Searle. He was one of eight children.

His family later moved to Ogden Utah where he attended Ogden High School. Later joining the military, honorably serving in the US Navy for four years. He was awarded the; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Service Medal.

On April 15, 1986 Rex married his sweetheart Kip Green Searle, they were sealed in the Ogden Utah Temple on January 4, 1997. Rex was a father to many, alongside his wife they raised four handsome boys, three beautiful daughters, and have since been blessed with seven grandchildren. Rex enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

He loved race horses, continually following them throughout his life. Above all else, he unconditionally loved his family. We’ll love you forever dad.

Rex is survived by his loving wife Kip Green Searle. His siblings Jack Searle, Loa Chatlin. His children David Dwayne, Rex M., Ferrin Eugene (Monica), Saje Kolt (Heather), Shylla Marie, Mariah Grace.

His Grandchildren Kyle, Anthony, Braxten, Boston, Emmy, Jackson, Eli Rex was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Carl Searle, Max Searle. His sisters, Nyla Short, Bonnie Jenson, Erla Peterson, and his beloved daughter Dakota Anne Searle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.

where a viewing will be held on Thursday, March 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.
