Donald Kenneth Jensen February 8, 1927-March 7, 2019 Donald K Jensen, 92, passed away peacefully due to incidents related to age on March 7, 2019. He was born February 8, 1927 in Laramie, WY to Viggo and Alice Jensen. He attended Ogden High School, and earned his bachelor degree from Utah State University in floraculture.

He served in the army during World War II and the Korea war. Donald married Myrtle Moore in Ogden in 1954 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They have been married for 65 years.

Together they have two sons, and five daughters. He worked at Hill Field for 27 years and retired after 30 years of civil service. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has served in many capacities, including, ward clerk, executive secretary, and in the young men’s program.

Donald enjoyed painting, fishing, gardening, sports and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife Myrtle, children: Les (Kathy) Jensen, Kenneth Jensen, Kathy (Greg) Cummings, Lori (Scott) Webb, Sherry Jensen, and Judy (Timo) Jones.

He has 18 grandchildren, and 28 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Katherine, sister, Dorothy. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Legacy House of Ogden, and Symbii Home Health and Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Roy 4th Ward, 5301 South 2100 West, Roy, UT. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the church.
