She was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Pham Van Ha on January 25, 1953, in Vietnam.

Lien came to the United States in 1975. She went to work at the Williamsburg Pottery where she met the love of her life, Gary Hylton Sr., and married on May 5, 1978. Lien was a very loving mother and wife.

She stopped everything to take care of her children and grandchildren. She was active in her church. Lien was most known for her mouthwatering egg rolls.

Lien is survived by her husband, Gary Hylton Sr.; her sister in America, Huong Pham; many brothers and sisters in Vietnam; and her two children, Mary Hylton of Richmond, Va. and Gary Hylton Jr. and wife, Ryan, of Chesterfield, Va. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Isaac, Braxton, Maddox; and granddaughter in heaven, Angelina.

The visitation will be held at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., on Friday, January 4, 2019, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at The Church of Vietnamese Martyrs, followed by burial in Westhampton Memorial Park.
