OBITUARY Charles Erwin Madison June 8, 1951 – December 24, 2018 Madison, Charles, 67, of Varina passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Rossa Clayton Madison; mother, Alberta V. Knight; and brother, Stewart W. Madison. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Madison; brother, Leonard Madison (Brenda); sister-in-law, Patricia Rhoten; children, Robbie Childress (Heather), Rossa Madison (Kelly), Joshua E. Madison (Emily) and Megan Mitchell; niece, Darlene Rhoten; grandchildren, Mackenzie Madison, Ava Madison, Wyatt Madison, Reily Childress and Lauren Lester.

Charles was a U. S. Marine veteran and a proud member of local 100, Sheet Metal Union. He always enjoyed spending time with his garage buddies watching the race and playing poker, but most of all being with his children. The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2019 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave.
