Obituary for Linda Steinsdoerfer Linda Lee Steinsdoerfer, 69, of Springfield, Michigan, passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Whispering Meadows Senior Care. She was born on December 29, 1948, the daughter of Irvin William Steinsdoerfer and Stella Francis (Snider) Steinsdoerfer. Linda graduated in 1966 from Springfield High School.

She was involved in dog shows, and raising Chows throughout her years. Linda retired after 25 years of service on December 2008 from the VA Medical Center. Linda is survived by her Two Sisters, Joy Steinsdoerfer of Springfield, Denise (Donald) Williams of Battle Creek; Brother, Rickey Steinsdoerfer of Sherwood; Three Nephews, Jason (Michelle) Needham of Wisconsin, Jared Needham and Logan Travis, both of Battle Creek; Two Nieces, Dana Steinsdoerfer and Emily Travis both of Battle Creek; Four Great-nieces, Jordyn, Haylee, Saydee and Jenna and her Faithful Companion Dog, Noel.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Irvin William Steinsdoerfer, Mother, Stella Francis Steinsdoerfer. Linda was an avid horse lover. In her earlier days, she enjoyed watching NASCAR, until Tony Stewart retired.

Her favorite singer was Bruce Springsteen, and liked being called “The Boss” from her sisters. She will truly be missed by those who knew her. A memorial luncheon will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm to honor the life of Linda.
