Linda Anne “Lin” Denney, 50, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at Jack Hughston Hospital in Phenix City, AL. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Monday, May 7, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Vance Memorial Chapel. Lin was born in Ft. Hood, Texas, on January 29, 1968 to Linda Coulter and the late Rufus K. Smith, Sr

She worked for Greene Finance and was Baptist by faith. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Denney; daughters, Emily Denney, Ashley Denney and Tammy Denney; granddaughter, Brinley Jade Denney; mother, Linda Coulter husband (George); siblings, Sherry Merchant husband John, B.J. Ford husband Greg, Ken Smith, Sam Boleware, Cricket Coulter, Debra Coulter Fincher and Ronda Akin; aunt, Patricia Sullivan husband Joe; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
