Randy M. Cox, 67, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, June 22, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel, Phenix City, AL. A private burial will follow at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Cox was born March 1, 1951 son of the late Lindsey Mack Cox, Sr. and Arlene Virginia Brown Cox. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

After his service in the military, Mr. Cox worked at Westrock for over 30 years. He was a member of Word of Faith. Additionally, Mr. Cox enjoyed fishing, farming and cooking.

He even created his own BBQ sauce, Big Saks Sauce. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lindsey Mack Cox, Jr Mr. Cox is survived by his loving wife, Louise Cox of Phenix City, AL; three sons, Brandon Cox and wife Cameron of Phenix City, AL, Shannon Cox of Auburn, AL and Landon Cox of Phenix City, AL; four sisters, Linda Jackson and husband Bobby of Columbus, GA, Denise Mancil of Phenix City, AL, Jennifer Brown of Jefferson, GA and Melanie Cox of Phenix City, AL; six grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Bentley, Noah, Mikle and Lani; several extended family members and friends.

The family will accept flowers or donations that may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Randy. Online condolences may be shared at www.
