Walter Albert “Bert” Farr Jr., 68, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center. The family will be holding a private memorial service. Walter Albert “Bert” Farr Jr. was born March 29, 1950 in Columbus, GA to Walter Albert Farr Sr. and Ruby Farr.

Bert loved music, he was a big fan classic rock and he really enjoyed watching movies. Bert is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Farr Sr. and Ruby Farr. Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Mary “Libby” Slinker Farr; daughter, Samantha Huckaby and husband Kody of Columbus, GA; close family friend, Jennifer Daughtery of Cataula, GA; grandson, Korbin Lee Huckaby; niece, Kari Daughtery of Columbus, GA; nephew, Dylan Lipe of Colorado Springs, CO and his loyal dog, Dollar.
