Rev. G. Taylor Brown, 71, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 1st Presbyterian Church of Phenix City, AL.

The family will great friends before and after the service. Rev. Brown was born April 5, 1947 son of the late Guy Egell Brown and Sarah Taylor Brown.

He had a call on his life to serve God in ministry and did so for many years. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sally Kay Reed. Re.

Brown is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Brown; Shirley “Mom” Brown; daughter, Stephanie Swoger and husbands Ronnie; grandson, Taylor Hutton Swoger; brother, Richard Brown and wife Audrey; several extended family members and many friends and a host of lives touched by his ministry for Christ.
