Kathy Anne Morrison, 63, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 24, 2018, while surrounded by her loving husband and family. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM EST, Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home located at 4048 Macon Road Columbus, GA, with Pastor Aaron R. Baldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Kathy was born in Chamblee, Georgia, Daughter of the late Harold Ogden and mother Ollie Green Belk. Mrs. Morrison was fortunate in life to be loved and raised by a wonderful step-father Ronald Belk.

Kathy loved her family and life itself but her most cherished possessions were her grandchildren which were her full-time hobby. Kathy was surrounded this past weekend with a host of family and friends, each taking the time to share moments with her. In addition to her father, and step-father, Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by one sister Sondra Brown.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by her mother Ollie Green Belk; her loving husband of 45 years John Thomas Morrison; one daughter, Kathy King and her husband Richard of Phenix City, AL; two sons, John Morrison of Atlanta, GA and Steven Morrison and his wife Rachael of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Leilani Holland of Columbus, GA and Edwina Welch and her husband George of Buena Vista, GA; six grandchildren, Georgia King, Caroline King, Isabella Morrison, Peyton Morrison, Brogen Long and Ryder Morrison.
