Linda S. Cloud, 70, of Anderson, formerly of Ingalls, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Anderson. She was born December 26, 1948 in Ingalls, IN to Charles L. and Alberta (Riddle) Hennis. Linda had worked at Brookside Corporation in McCordsville, but she mainly ran an in-home daycare in Ingalls for many years.

Linda enjoyed crafts and also visited people in nursing homes who didn’t have any relatives or hadn’t had visitors for a long time. She was always meeting new people and enjoyed spending her time with them. Linda was the former president of the Ingalls Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and loved camping.

When they retired, she and her husband Bill traveled to New Mexico and then would make their way to Florida in their motorhome. Linda is survived by husband William, whom she married in 1974, son Charles (Janette Martin) Smith of Connersville; granddaughters: Kyndra and Alyssa Poppino; great-grandchildren: Kayleigh Gilbert, Brently Akers, Hunter Poppino and Bella Poppino and sister Teresa Tuck of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Hunter Smith, and brothers Lester Hennis and David Hennis.
