Linda Kay Kinsey, age 71, of Worden, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL. Linda was born on July 11, 1947 in Ft. Smith, AR.

On July 16, 1965, Linda Elkins married Larry Kinsey, the love of her life in Caseyville, IL. Linda was a proud homemaker who loved gardening, feeding the birds and going to church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Linda loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda was preceded in death by her father, William Elkins; a sister, Karen; two brothers, Billy Joe and Larry Dale; two grandchildren, Octoby and Eddie; and by two sons-in-law, Brandon Daniel and Bobby Martin.

She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-three years, Larry Kinsey of Worden, IL; dear mother, Easter Elkins of Greenville, IL; loving daughters, Lori Martin of Staunton, IL, Lucinda Daniel of Worden, IL, Leah (Lucas) Wildcat of Tahlequah, OK and Lynette (Edgar) Venable of Wood River, IL; dear siblings, Eileen (David), Melissa, Mark (Shelia), Gwen, Kim, Ward and Brian (Lana); proud grandmother to Marissa, Blake, Lawrence, Lakota, Skylar, Zak, Katlyn and Edgar; beloved pets, Walela, Brutus and Baby; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at River of Life Church in Worden, IL. In celebration of her life, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the church with Pastor Dee Lynn officiating.

Interment will be in Worden City Cemetery, Worden, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family. Donations will be accepted at the church.
