Obituary for Lisa Ann Bench Dayley Our beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, Lisa Ann Bench Dayley passed away on April, 10, 2018 at her home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Lisa was born on September 21, 1969 to Calvin and Sharon Bench. She was a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed baby with a streak of independence and sassiness that made her a force to be reckoned with.

She loved her parents and appreciated the love and support they gave her through the many challenges she endured. She was a proud big sister and fierce protector of her siblings and while she may have been responsible for instigating some of the trouble the three caused together, she can also be credited as their hero on more than one occasion. Lisa lived in many places during her adult life and enjoyed her travels, but her parents’ house in Woods Cross was always home.

On July 22, 1989 Lisa married Lynn Sorensen. From this union they had three beautiful children; Ashley Ann, Skye Lynn and Cody Christopher. They later divorced but remained connected in sharing in the lives of their children.

On March 27, 1993 Lisa married the love of her life, Marc Dayley. Lisa and the kids not only gained a wonderful husband and father in this union, they gained a loving and supportive family. Lisa cherished her in laws, Ed and Beth and enjoyed spending time with Marc’s siblings.

Marc and Lisa added two more beautiful children to the family, Andrew Edward and Kira Noel. Lisa’s greatest joy in life was her children and her grandchildren; Arianna Ann and Colby Lynn. She loved to spend time with them playing games, coloring, and watching movies.

She had such a special connection with each one and even when there where miles between them, they were always close in her heart. Lisa spent many years as a waitress for Jim’s restaurant and Dees. She was the manager at Dees restaurant on 5th south in Bountiful for many years and took great pride in her work.

Dees was her second home. She made many friends and was adopted by all the regulars. Lisa was a kind and loving soul.

She never judged anyone and always saw the good in everyone she met. She loved a good book and a cherry coke (but only in a bottle) and didn’t go anywhere without both. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, her 4 children and 2 grandchildren, her parents, sister Marcie Valdez and brother Brandt Bench (Summer), many nieces and nephews that she adored and a large extended Nelson and Dayley family.

There is peace in knowing she is now reunited with her son Andrew who preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Woods Cross LDS Stake Center, 2064 South 800 West, Woods Cross, Utah where a viewing will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and prior to services Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
