Obituary for Lorelies Gambol Lorelies Gambol, 87, of Glen Mills, formerly of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on Sunday April 15, 2018 surrounded by her family. Lorelies will be deeply missed by her children Jean, Diane, Craig (Theresa), grandchildren Shannon (Joe), Brian, Craig, Chase, and great grandchildren Jake, Gavin, Brody, and Paige. She is predeceased by her first husband John Morris who passed away in 1955 and second husband Louis Gambol who passed away in 2014.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Lorelies married John in 1949 who was an American soldier stationed in Germany. Lorelies and John moved to the US in 1950 after his tour of duty in Germany ended. Upon the sudden death of John while still on active duty, Lorelies returned to Germany to live for a couple of years.

In 1957 she returned to the US permanently and soon after met Louis. They married in 1958 and settled in Lansdowne where she raised her family and lived there until 2016 when she moved to Glen Mills. The family is deeply thankful to Mainline Health Hospice and her nurse Rachel who provided her with exceptional care in her almost two year battle with cancer.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday April 20, 2018 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Williams Lombardo Funeral Home, 33 W. Baltimore Ave. Clifton Heights, PA, 19018. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
