Lorraine N. Barder, 82, of Moonshine Road, Pine Grove, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 9th at Lehigh Valley Hospital – East, Pottsville. Born in Hegins, September 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Harvey and Mildred Morgan Kroh. Lorraine worked for many years as a cashier at the former Pine Grove Truck Stop.

She was preceded in death by her companion of 50 years, Clyde Koons, October 30,2016; brothers, John, Andy, Mark, Clervin and Mervin Kroh; a sister, Marie Poletti. Surviving are a daughter, Bridget Barder, Pine Grove; three sons, Robert Barder, Lykens; David Barder, Millersburg and John Barder, CO; three step-sons, Brett Koons, WA, Scott Koons, LA and Gregg Koons, Fl. ; one sister, Eleanor Bixler, Valley View; one brother Robert Kroh, Lincoln.

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13th at 7 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City. Viewing be from 5-7 pm at the chapel.
