Obituary for Lorraine Noel Mendel Adams, MA – February 29, 1936 – April 18, 2018. Lorraine passed away in her home of 51 years amongst her loved ones. She leaves husband Walter, three children – Lisa, Steven and Jeannie, 8 grandchildren; Rebecca, Rachel and Zachary, Jenna and Jocelyn, Jake, Jack and Jesie.

Lorraine had a way of making all those she encountered feel special. She participated in all her ventures with an open and caring heart. Her true legacy in this life was her loving spirit.

She laughed and danced so beautifully and she truly loved her life and those who shared it with her. Lorraine was active in the community and a part of: Poughkeepsie Children’s Home – Board of Directors, St Mary’s Parish Wappingers Falls, NY, Mount Alvernia – Order of the Franciscan Seculars, Aristocrat Tours – Administrative Assistant and Tour Guide, Senior Centers in 5 communities – Arts and Crafts facilitator. She was actively involved in many other community activities Throughout her life she was adored by family and friends both here and her home in Adams, MA.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, Wappingers Falls, NY. The Mount Alvernia Order of Franciscan Seculars will offer a Memorial Prayer at 10:00am at Mount Alvernia prior to the Mass.
