Lorraine Weyant, 86, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Heritage Health. Lorraine was born on July 26, 1931 in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of the late Ray and Minnie Leigh. She married Charles “Chuck” Weyant on October 31, 1959 in Springfield; he preceded her in death January 23, 2017.

Lorraine retired from Sangamon County Supervisor of Assessments Office in 1997. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. She is survived by son, Tony (Dawna) of Sherman; daughter, Jackie (Don) Jordan of Williamsville; grandson, Evan Weyant; granddaughters, Rachel (Omar) Ramiro and Erica Jordan; and great grandson, Mason Ramiro.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Third Presbyterian Church, 1030 N. 7th St. Springfield, with Rev. Dr. Joseph Eby officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Third Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
