Lowell Thomas “Tom” Wilson, 66, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 after suffering a heart attack at his home. Tom was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 20, 1951 to the late Ernie and Vivian Wilson. He was a 1969 graduate of Harrison High School, attended Texas A&M from 1969-1970 and graduated from Southwest Missouri State in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Recreation.

He enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques, was an avid remodeler, loved landscaping and gardening and always had a project going on around his home. Tom is survived by his wife, Janet (McDaniel) Wilson of Evansville, IN; two brothers, Ernie Wilson (Sharon) and Dayne Wilson; step children, Trent McDaniel (Kim) and Alyssa Burnett (Greg); eight step grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife of 34 years, Aelisa “Lisa” (McCalister) Wilson. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, In 47711 with Pastor Karen Husby officiating.

Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3500 Depauw Blvd. , Indianapolis, IN 46268, The American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674 or the charity of your choice.
