Obituary for Billy Joe Lawrence Billy Joe Lawrence, 90, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, November 06, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Billy was born April 4, 1928 in West Frankfort, IL to the late Kelly and Angie (Quick) Lawrence. He worked for Bristol Myers; was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Twin Towers and a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving Billy are his daughters, Kathy (Mike) Dressel and Carol Butler and a son, Patrick (Jennifer) Lawrence, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Megan (Erik) Bowlds, Matt Dressel, Michael (Amy) Dressel, Jill (Dan) Grady, Brian (Nicole) Spaetti, Amber Lawrence, Jacob Champlain and Christopher (Laura) Rexing and ten great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Fritts) Lawrence in 2013 and by a grandson, Daniel Spaetti. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev.

John Brosmer officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:30 AM until service time on Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 2701 W. Franklin Street.
