Loyd Dean Bradley, age 68, of Forest City, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Autumn Care of Marion. A native of Rutherford County, Loyd was born on December 1, 1950 to the late Rucker and Mary Greene Bradley. Loyd was a member of Bible Tabernacle Church.

He was a United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He enjoyed music, he wrote songs and sung as well. He used his musical talents to glorify his Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Walker Bradley; one daughter, of the home, Sierra Nicole Oehler and one son, Loyd Dean Bradley, Jr. (Lori). Also surviving Loyd are his siblings, Jerry Bradley (Patsy), Dennis Bradley, Jimmy Bradley, Linda Jackson (Doyle), Barbara Andrews (Roger) and Brenda Owenby (Jim). A funeral to celebrate Loyd’s homegoing will take place on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Bible Tabernacle Church with Reverends Joe Greene, Jewel Forney and Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Spindale City Cemetery.
