Luana Otterstrom Allen August 29, 1938 ~ January 27, 2019 Luana Otterstrom Allen, 80, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was born August 29, 1938 in Price, Utah, a daughter of Carlos and LaVina Shiner Otterstrom. She was raised and educated in Carbon and Emery counties and graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah.

She attended the College of Eastern Utah in Price and graduated from Stevens Henager College in Salt Lake City. On August 12, 1960, Luana married Dwaine Allen in Ogden, Utah. She lived in Washington Terrace for 58 years.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed reading, camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandsons.

Luana is survived by four children, Annette (Keith) DeHart, Millville; Larry (Michele) Allen, Roy; Nancy (Jim) Russell, Roy; Roger (Julie) Allen, Clinton; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Dwaine, one sister, Marilyn and one daughter, Julie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
