She was a longtime resident of Rock Springs. She was born in Franklin, Kansas, on Dec.

13, 1928, to Marie and Anton Panalsek. She attended school in Franklin and Arma, Kansas, until the family moved to Superior, Wyoming, in 1942. She attended Superior High School and graduated with the Class of 1946.

She attended and graduated from Stevens-Henegar Business School in Salt Lake City. In Rock Springs, she worked first for New Studio ,and then after graduating from business school she worked for Rock Springs National Bank, now RSNB. She worked at the bank for 25 years, until her retirement in 1995.

Lucille traveled extensively and enjoyed watching sports. She was very independent and was generous to many people in the community as well as family members. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Anthony Panalsek and wife Alma; her nephew, Paul Panalsek and wife Gail; her niece, Ann Marie (Panalsek) Jantz and husband Keith; and great-nephew Joseph Jantz and great-niece Isabel Jantz, all of Rock Springs; her niece and Carmelite nun, Sister Thomas Marie of the Passion (Mary Panalsek) of Buffalo, New York; an aunt, Velia Polsak of Pittsburg, Kansas; and several other relatives. A rosary will be said at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 at Vase Funeral Home in Rock Springs. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 11 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway St., Rock Springs.

Graveside services will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery, 802 Thompson. Family and friends are invited to a small reception following the services.
