Obituary for Lucille Maness Christian Big Stone Gap, VA Lucille Maness Christian, 80, was born Dec. 16, 1937 and went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, July 25, 2018 at Lee Health & Rehab in Pennington Gap, VA. She was the daughter of the late, Coy and Maxie Glass Maness.

She was a member of Robinette Chapel Church. Lucille loved caring for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Christian; brothers, Carnessan Maness and J. C. Maness; and sister, Lola McDole.

Surviving are her sons, Jackie Christian and his wife Sharon, Greg Christian, Randall Christian and his wife Sonja; grandchildren, Josh Christian and wife Amy, Shaun Alan Christian and wife Maria, Tabitha Christian, Amanda Christian and Jacqueline Christian; and eleven great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Maness and wife Nadine; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Michael Ford and staff for the wonderful love and care given to Lucille for over 40 years. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Holding Funeral Home (17 E. 3rd St., N.) in Big Stone Gap.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bud Kilbourne and Rev. Eddie Kilbourne officiating.

Burial will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Pallbearers will be: Greg Christian, Randall Christian, Jackie Christian, Josh Christian, Alan Christian and Eugene Smith. To view the obituary online and offer condolences, please visit www.
