Obituary of Lucille (Unick) Geer Andersen Core Lucille Marie (Unick) Geer Andersen Core, age 91, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus at her home on November 5, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Lucille was born on July 24, 1927 in Ferndale, WA to Jesse and Matilda (Roehrich) Unick, where she spent her childhood and graduated from Ferndale High School in 1945. She loved to travel, enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners, and loved spending time with her family.

She will be remembered for her kind heart and compassion. Lucille is survived by her son George Geer (Beverly) of Ferndale, WA and daughter Joanne Geer (Bill) of Manning, SC; grandchildren Kyle, Karlee, Joshua (Teresa), Casi; great grandchildren Kevin, Joshua Jr., Sarah; sister Lauralee Anderson of Poulsbo, WA; and many loving relatives and friends. Her family is grateful for the compassion and care provided by Whatcom Hospice, Visiting Angels, and Correll Park Helping Hands.

At her request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers or cards, please send donations to Bellingham Emblem Club #489 P.O. Box 31355 Bellingham, WA 98228 (scholarship fund) and Whatcom Humane Society.
