Sims, age 80, will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Dr. Charles Payne officiating. Interment will be in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA. Visitation will be held Monday, July 16, 2018, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home.

Mage was born on February 21, 1938 to Howard Eugene and Goldie Marie Smith Sims in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was a retired newspaper carrier for the Shreveport Times. He is survived by numerous cousins and friends.
