Obituary for Percy Wayne Charles Percy Wayne Charles Shongaloo, LA Funeral services for Mr. Percy Wayne Charles, age 80, will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2018, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Charles was born on May 14, 1938 to Edward Leroy and Clara Virginia Burton Charles in Sarepta, LA and passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in Shongaloo, LA. He served in the U.S. Army, was a truck driver, salesmen in the oilfield and sold cars.

He is survived by three sons, Bobby Charles and Sandy Foster of Shongaloo, LA, Jerry Charles and wife, Angela of Sarepta, LA and Donald Charles of WI; six grandchildren, Cori Gianni, Cassie Charles, Chelsea Charles, Ashley Charles, Josh Boggs and Brandon Charles; eleven great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Gianni, Victoria Gianni, Alexis Gianni, Christian Gianni, Kyndal Johnson, Hayden Johnson, Landon Johnson, Mason Johnson, Lani Charles, Shani Charles and Henry Austin Charles; two brothers, John S. Charles of Emerson, AR and David Charles of Stephenville, TX; two sisters, Ruth C. Tyler of Taylor, AR and Ruby Bagwell of Brookhaven, MS. Mr. Charles was preceded in death by parents; wife, Patsy Ann Charles; brothers, Buddy Charles and Marvin Lloyd Charles and sister, Jessie Bagwell. Pallbearers will be B. J. Riley, Scott Charles, Brian Thurman, Russell Cannon, Ben Logue and Jeremy Stockwell.
