Obituary for Margie McCurry Cross Margie May McCurry Cross age 95 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Margie was born October 8, 1922 in Marion, LA to the late Mary Alice Thurston Reynolds and Vester Reynolds. She loved being outdoors, whether she was hunting, gardening or tending to her flowers, she just enjoyed nature.

She was a thirty plus year “Pink Lady at Medical Center of South Arkansas and was a member of Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Joe Dan McCurry; second husband, Olen L. Cross; one son, Larry McCurry; two brothers, Milus Dale Reynolds and John M. Reynolds; one sister, Alice McGaugh and one grandson, Jason Hogue. Survivors include; two sons, Joseph McCurry and wife Martha and James McCurry all of El Dorado; ten grandchildren, Tammy McCloy and husband Bill, Tina Phillips and husband Jim, Keith McCurry and wife Gretchen, Rhonda Alphin and husband Jeff, Lori Gadberry and husband Carroll, Kristi McAuliffe and husband Kevin, Michael McCurry, Joe Dan McCurry, Melanie Bilancich, Jeff Hunter and wife Charity; nineteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one sister, Rita Johnson of Atlanta, TX along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery with Bro. Larry Hudson officiating and under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
