Obituary for Janice M Brown Janice M. Brown, 80 of Smackover, AR passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR. Janice was born June 25, 1938 in Ouachita County, AR to the union of Tom Rattliff and Zura Watson Rattiff. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Duaine Frank Brown, Sr. a son, Duane Frank Brown, Jr. and five siblings.

Janice was a former bank teller at Smackover State Bank and was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church. Survivors include her three sons, Samuel Mark Brown, Richard Eric Brown and wife Sherri, and Timothy Ray Brown , one daughter, Melissa Gail Creer, sister, Althea Jones, brother, Roy Rattliff, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home with Rev.

Sye Duke officiating. A private interment will be in the Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to one of the local nursing homes.
