Obituary for Madge Turner Quarles Madge Turner Quarles, 94, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on October 10, 2018. A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2 o’clock at New Salem Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA with Rev. Nicholas Pepper officiating.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2018 between the hours of 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel in Powder Springs, GA. Madge was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, William T. Quarles. She is survived by her sons; Ronnie Quarles of Waleska, GA, Donnie Quarles of Waleska, GA, Doug Quarles(Rachel) of Marietta, GA, and Ricky Quarles(Ellen) of Kennesaw, GA.

; sisters; Myra Petty of Marietta, GA and Ellen Hutchenson of Fayetteville, GA; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Madge was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA. She loved gardening, traveling, and most of all cooking for her family.

Family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society of Cobb County 3380 Chastain Meadows Pkwy NW #200, Kennesaw, GA 30144 or New Salem Baptist Church 836 New Salem Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
