Obituary for Ralph Raymond Pollock Ralph Pollock, 85, of Marietta, Georgia, went to be with His Lord, Saturday, November 24, 2018. Born in Hanoverton, Ohio to Minnie and Raymond Pollock. After graduating from Salem High School, he enlisted in the Army serving in the 82nd Airborne.

He graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.S. in Accounting. In 1979 he and his family moved to Marietta while he served as Arby’s controller. Later he worked for Lockheed-Martin until retiring in 1998.

Since retiring he volunteered to help others with tax preparation, at MUST Ministries and loved spending time with his family. He married Judy Astfalk in 1959. He leaves behind 4 children: Lynnette (Keith) Rau; Curt; Sharon and Eric, granddaughter: Melissa (Aaron) Bailey and great grandson Brandt who will greatly miss him.

He is predeceased by his parents and sisters Alice (Donald) Reeder and Ruth (John) Kocsis. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, GA.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00AM at the funeral home with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Private interment at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ralph Raymond Pollock please visit our Sympathy Store.
