Obituary for Malvina Lydia Chodan Malvina Lydia Chodan, 89, a longtime resident of Amenia, NY, died on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Born on October 27, 1928 in Trieste, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Geroni Bellic. On April 18, 1952 in Trieste, Italy, she married Ivan Chodan who died on May 6, 2011.

She was an avid gardener. Mrs. Chodan is survived by two sons, Jimmy Chodan, and his wife, Maureen, of Astatula, FL and Ivan A. Chodan, Jr., and his wife, Tammy, of Kissimmee, FL and two daughters, Vivian Bartone, and her husband, Michael, of Salem, OR and Christine Chodan of Stanfordville, NY. She is also survived by a brother, a sister and ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev.
