Obituary for Marcia Sue Adams Marcia Sue (Story) Adams, age 64, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at her residence. A native of Erwin, Marcia is the daughter of the late J.R. and Kathleen (Harrell) Story. She was of the Christian faith and loved her family and life.

In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her sister: Brenda Harris and her granny: Hazel Johnson. Marcia Sue (Story) Adams leaves behind to cherish her memory: Special Companion: Mike Padgett; Daughter: Candie Lewis and husband, Jake; Son: Michael Hampton and wife, April; Grandchildren: McKain Poole, Brittany Hampton, Ryan Hampton; Great-grandchildren: Mia Ponce, Alexander Brown; Sisters: Teresa Peterson, Lana Harris, Tootsie Harrell; Best friend: Liz Salling. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Marcia Sue (Story) Adams in a memorial service to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home.

Jim Griffith will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the hour of service on Thursday. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
